Our warranty & workmanship guarantee
A renovation or a new home is one of the biggest investments you'll make. We stand behind every one — in writing.
Good builders fix problems before you ever see them. But when something does need attention after we've handed over the keys, our warranty makes the next step obvious — call us, and we handle it.
Here's exactly what stands behind your Nexon Build project — across Toronto and the GTA.
Workmanship warranty
Every renovation and addition we complete is backed by a written workmanship warranty covering defects in the labour we performed. If something we built isn't right, we come back and make it right.
Tarion coverage on new homes
As a licensed builder, our ground-up custom homes are enrolled in Ontario's Tarion new home warranty — one year on workmanship and materials, two years on systems, and seven years on major structural defects.
Manufacturer warranties, organized
Appliances, windows, roofing, and finishes carry their own manufacturer warranties. At handover we hand you a complete package — documents, registrations, and care guides — so nothing gets lost.
A real point of contact
Your warranty isn't a call centre. You deal with the same partners who ran your build, tracked in Buildertrend, so any post-completion item is logged, scheduled, and closed out.
Questions, answered
How long is your workmanship warranty?+
We provide a written workmanship warranty on every project. New custom homes are additionally covered under Ontario's Tarion program (1 / 2 / 7 years). Renovation warranty terms are confirmed in your contract before work begins.
What is the Tarion warranty?+
Tarion administers Ontario's mandatory new home warranty. It covers one year of workmanship and materials, two years of major systems (plumbing, electrical, heating, and water penetration), and seven years for major structural defects. Every new home built by a licensed builder is enrolled.
What happens if I find an issue after move-in?+
Contact us directly. We log the item, assess it, and schedule the fix. Anything covered under our workmanship warranty — or Tarion, for new homes — is corrected at no cost to you.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell my home?+
Tarion new home warranty coverage stays with the home and transfers to subsequent owners within the coverage period. Workmanship warranties on renovations are confirmed in your contract.
Tarion coverage applies to new homes built by licensed builders in Ontario; specific terms are set by Tarion. Renovation and addition warranty terms are detailed in your individual project contract. This page is a summary, not the contract itself.
